Good service, good vibe, and good food! prices were reasonable and the place was clean and organized. parking was tight but to be expected for south end.

Hubby and I had a date day lunch here, and we had a great time! Our server, Claire, was wonderful! Very welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu items, including all of the specials. We essentially created our now omakase menu (we must come back for the real deal!), exploring most of the sashimi menu (which was excellent!), the takoyaki, and sharing the tonkatsu ramen with shio broth. Everything was delicious, including the chef's special cold soup, which had a mild white sauce (coconut milk based?), chunks of mango, avocado, white fish, and cilantro micro greens. After such an indulgent meal, Claire generously sent us off with a slice of their delicious matcha cheesecake, which was an excellent example of a rich and creamy NY style cheesecake. We must go back soon!

Inside is very nice and clean. Service was quick and friendly. I've tried the cilantro rock shrimp roll, chicken karaage, takoyaki, chicken heart and chicken gizzard yakitori, yuzu ceviche and tonkatsu ramen. All were delicious and unique, only thing that I probably wouldn't get again is the ramen, I have my favorite place but you should still try it. A nice place for a date or even a quick lunch. Definitely recommend.

Amazing flavorful ramen. Filling with great portions. Service was great. We went as they opened so not much of a crowd. Nice ambiance.

Fresh and delicious sushi! I love their selection and their happy hour deals. The mango sauce is a bit strange-tasting, but not bad. The ambiance is fairly casual, and the service is consistently good.

Never Disappoints! Since the "snow" hit Charlotte I was concerned that maybe they weren't open, but before a Target run, I had to stop in. I ordered the spicy crispy rice, which since my last visit, they made it a permanent menu item :). Love that for me! Their karaage is still good as ever and the spicy tuna roll is amazing. I still haven't tried the ramen. Once I get a custom to something, I like what I like. Shortly after I came in tonight, they had protesters outside of their restaurant, with megaphones; but none of us really cared. Everyone has a right to invoke their right to speech, but the staff handled everything very well and asked them to leave. Nothing will stop me from coming here again. Thank you to Karla, the bartender, for taking care of me! Always top notch service, great ambiance and even better staff.

We were pleasantly surprised with this place and it's a nice touch they have a happy hour food menu! Only reason we didn't give 5 stars was our server, she just seemed like she couldn't be bothered with us. But we would definitely go back for the food alone.

I don't know how I haven't reviewed this place yet as many times as I've been back. Top-notch ramen, and I've had three different ones here so far. Everything in the bowl comes together well (sans the corn; I still don't get that) and there's plenty of it for the price. The atmosphere is great as well; quieter music over darker colors and lower light makes this a great place to get a meal if you're looking to relax. My one complaint: either the seats are low or the tables are high, but it's a bit uncomfortable to sit down and have some great ramen. I haven't had this happen elsewhere, so it's not me being built funny.
